Project Manager

Reports to: CEO
Status: Non-Exempt
Hours: Part-Time (30 hours/week) 
Pay Range: $22-$24/hour
Location: Prefer local to Denver office

Purpose

The Project Manager serving the Development department is an integral part of the fundraising team,
supporting key projects through excellence in administration, process and project management and
execution. This role will work closely with internal departments, contractors, Development staff, major
donors as well as the CEO.

This position supports an excellent experience for donors and prospects through accurate reporting,
appeal and campaign execution, project management and event planning.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management
  • Oversee execution of annual development strategic plan.
  • Maintain major project and appeal deadlines (system emails, ministry impact report, Capital Campaign,
    Christmas appeal, etc.)
  • Ensure seamless project execution with Marketing, IT, Leadership, Events and Outreach teams and the
    Development team.
  • Assist Grant writer with documentation and submissions.
  • Ensure all development infrastructure is running smoothly and all processes are seamless.
  • Prepare monthly production reports for donor reps including, potential gifts, gifts solicited but not
    committed, and total amount committed toward goal and ensure appropriate allocations.
  • Coordinate and execute print pieces as well as direct mail appeals.
  • Track appeals and on-line giving and work with Donor reps to ensure partners are thanked.
  • Make sure CRM and all technology is working seamlessly and is updated with accurate data.
  • Proactively help CEO with donor care, follow-up, scheduling, tracking activities and pulling reports.
  • Book travel as needed for the team.
  • Manage budget for the Development team.
Event Planning
  • Execute annual VIP events at MOMcon along with team.
  • Project manage Vision trips.
Leadership
  • Identify and demonstrate the ability to foresee problems and prevent them by taking action.
  • Interact professionally with MOPS staff, MOPS Board, MOPS Donors and Strategic Partners at all times with
    ability to pick up on situational cues and adjust in the moment.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity.
  • Take on new tasks and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.
  • Assist the team with special projects.

Job Qualifications

  • Follower of Jesus and able to faithfully sign and uphold the MOPS Faith and Values Statement.
  • 3 years of professional development administrative experience.
  • High level of efficiency, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills with ability to assess processes and make recommendations
    for improvements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to take initiative, set goals and achieve them.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality in handling donor information.
  • Strong spiritual character.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Word, Outlook, Excel and CRM.
