Multimedia Producer

Reports to: VP of Marketing & Church Engagement
Status: Exempt
Hours: 40 hours/Full-time 
Pay Range: $55,000 – $62,000 based on experience
Location: Denver metro area (In office a minimum of 3 days per week)

Purpose

To conceptualize and create high-end video, photo and audio content for a variety of multimedia platforms.

Scope

This position combines storyboarding, shooting, directing, editing, audio mixing, and storytelling to communicate ideas to a variety of audiences. This position blends creativity and technical execution to achieve organizational goals for The MomCo and push digital content creation forward.

Key Responsibilities

  • Bring creative inspiration and ideas to life using the art of storytelling that drives to emotion and/or action.
  • Push the creative and technical boundaries of what is possible to ensure the organization stays on top of trends and cutting edge.
  • Utilize and maximize multimedia as a tool for strategic organizational growth.
  • Serve as project manager of all video projects for the organization. Own the project from conception through completion.
  • Research and develop ideas and budgets; write scripts; schedule interviews; recruit talent; design and build sets.
  • Serve as multimedia editor, videographer and audio/lighting specialist for the organization.
  • Train and recruit staff, interns and volunteers as needed.
  • Maintain all organizational multimedia technology recourses (lighting, cameras, sets, etc.). Advocate for new equipment as needed.
  • In collaboration with the graphic designers, design and give feedback on video graphics, titles and creative elements within multimedia production.
  • Oversee and maintain all organizational podcasts; including editing and publishing all podcasts.
  • Enhance and maintain digital archiving of all multimedia projects.
  • In collaboration with organizational leaders, review initial content and give feedback on multimedia projects. Take the initial concepts and enhance them as you bring them to life.
  • Create innovative, compelling ways to tell stories, inspire action, and share information through video and other content mediums, from start to finish.
  • Produce videos for all creative campaigns to support the strategies and goals of the organization.
  • Execute all tasks related to video pre-production, production and post-production.
  • Transport, set up, and operate various production equipment including cameras, audio and video recorders, lighting equipment, props, and microphones.
  • Manage creation of MOPS International’s annual video curriculum; from design and building through uploading of final videos.
  • Lead creative concepting, storyboarding and scriptwriting.
  • Work with Graphic Designers to ensure cohesive brand across visual platforms.
  • Manage MOPS International’s video content on YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook and other video platforms.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or equivalent technical credentials in media or film.
  • Follower of Jesus and able to faithfully sign and uphold the MOPS Faith and Values Statement.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in video production.
  • Excellent video production skills and ability to show portfolio of past work.
  • Expert knowledge of editing software and Adobe Creative Suite products.
  • Adept at presenting video concepts based on needs of the organization.
  • Ability to sustain and guide the entire creative process.
  • Ability to handle high volume of video work.
  • Proven project management skills.
  • Animation software skills are a plus.
  • Passionate about storytelling, the influence of women and the value of motherhood.
  • Fun-loving attitude and great collaboration skills.
  • Experience developing communications using emerging media and various delivery methods of electronic communications.
  • Knowledge of audio/video storage and archiving.
